Liberty Aviation Museum Tour
The Lorain County Veterans Service Commission is proud to host our newest all-expense-paid trip to the Liberty Aviation Museum in Port Clinton, Ohio! This special event is open to all Lorain County veterans, who are encouraged to bring a guest to share in the experience. From historic aircraft to military vehicles and memorabilia, the Liberty Aviation Museum offers a fascinating glimpse into aviation history. With a private guided tour, you’ll have the chance to explore the stories and legacy of those who served in the skies and beyond.
Additional stops include:
- Lunch will be provided by the Tin Goose Restaurant
- Ice Cream at Toft’s
Ohio Veterans Homes Military Museum in SanduskyUnfortunately we have been informed that the Ohio Veterans Home Museum has been scratched from this tour.
As a token of our appreciation, all participants will receive a free t-shirt to commemorate this memorable trip. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with fellow veterans, share stories, and enjoy a day of history, good food and great company!

- 8:00 am
- Motor coach arrives at the Lorain County Veterans Services office.
- 8:30 am
- Depart from the Lorain County Veterans Services office.
- 9:45 am
- Arrive at the Liberty Aviation Museum for guided tour.
- 10:00 am
- Introduction to the Museum and docent guided tour.
- 12:15 pm
- Have an included lunch at the Tin Goose Restaurant.
- 1:15 pm
- Depart from the Liberty Museum.
- 1:45 pm
- Arrive at the Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky, OH
- 3:30 pm
- Depart from the Ohio Veterans Home.
- 4:00 pm
- Arrive at TOFT's Dairy Parlor for a complimentary ice cream treat.
- 5:00 p.m.
- Depart from Toft's Dairy.
- 6:15 p.m.
- Return to the Lorain County Veterans Office.
